PROGRAM OFFICER - INDONESIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM
Role and Responsibilities
-> Work closely with the Program Supervisor and Treasurer in promoting ICONE's Indonesian language program and in recruiting new students.
-> Maximize the use of various social media, ICONE's website and other possible communication mediums to expand the program reach.
-> Act as the liaison between students/family, teaching staff and ICONE through emails, phone-call and/or face-to-face communications.
-> Take care logistical matters such as venue arrangement, teaching materials printouts (can be done simultaneously or in turns with the TAs), scheduling, database and other documentations, etc.
-> Currently enroll as a university student and/or bachelor degree or equivalent is required.
-> Proactive and has strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
-> Speaks and writes fluent English and Indonesian.
-> Confident and outgoing team player with positive can-do attitude.
-> Light local travels might be needed for posting information and conducting any other possible student recruitment matters.
-> Attendance at team meetings is required.
-> Resides in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
This position is a volunteered based and non-salaried. The Program Officer and other team members are working based on the spirit of volunteerism and collective passion to make organization’s mission and visions come into realization for the greater good of Indonesian community in New England. Operational expenses may be disbursed based on need and prioritization.
